Why your involvement matters
Implementing a whole school approach to healthy eating is possible through an integrated education and advocacy community.
Student healthy eating choices are very much influenced by internal and external factors around us. That is why it is so important school communities portray positive role modelling by encouraging students to make the right choices that can set them up for life.
We are here to support school leadership teams with easy, effective strategies to create a healthy school environment.
Healthy eating choices can influence a students academic performance
- Implementing a breakfast club can increase a students mental concentration and their readiness to learn on a daily basis.
- Providing a dedicated space for students to sit and eat their recess and lunch can result in improved consumption of recess and lunch items.
